When it comes to advocating for children with special needs, Luba Patlakh is redefining what support truly looks like. As a multilingual speech-language pathologist, mom of three, and founder of Kidology Inc., she has built a pediatric powerhouse that serves over 650 families a year across two thriving clinics, a sensory play gym, and a mobile therapy bus.
Kidology is not just a clinic — it’s a community. With services spanning speech therapy, occupational and physical therapy, ABA, and state-funded support programs, Luba and her team meet children and families where they are — in every sense of the word. “We believe in full-circle care. Whether it’s in the clinic, at school, at home, or on our therapy bus, we make access possible and progress achievable,” Luba shares.
Now, Luba is tackling another critical gap: parent empowerment in IEP meetings. Her latest venture, The Confident IEP Parent, is a digital program designed to equip caregivers with the tools, scripts, and mindset to confidently advocate for their children during school meetings. “Too often, parents feel overwhelmed, unheard, or unprepared,” Luba explains. “This program changes that. We turn confusion into clarity — and fear into advocacy.”
In addition to this game-changing program, Kidology Inc. has launched a new Myofunctional Therapy division, bridging the connection between airway health, speech development, and whole-body wellness. This integrative approach has already shown transformative results for children struggling with tongue thrust, poor sleep, and feeding issues.
As a self-made entrepreneur, immigrant, and passionate advocate for inclusion, Luba continues to innovate, expand, and give back. Her mission is clear: “Every child deserves to thrive. Every parent deserves to feel empowered. And every community deserves access to quality care — no matter the diagnosis.”
With plans to expand nationally, roll out new digital courses, and pilot community-focused classroom programs, Luba’s vision for Kidology and its family-first brand is just getting started.
